What is ESKRIMA ?

Eskrima is a weapon based martial art from the Philippines, also known as Kali or Arnis. It is one of the most complete fighting style that contains blunt weapon, edge weapon, empty hand striking and grappling.

Unlike many other martial art has high requirement of physical abilities, eskrima is suitable for all gender  Many tactical units adopted this martial art style because its unique training methods and efficiency in close quarter combat. Also it is very popular in the films especially action movies that involved with special forces, secret agents such as Jason Bourne series, mission impossible series and etc.

What subject do we cover in this training?

►This is a 90minutes intense training, we will cover:

►The basic striking and methods of a blunt weapon

►Double stick drill and combinations

►Empty hand striking and block

►Stand up grappling and takedowns

►Edge weapon defense

What is Palumbo Pangolisi

Palumbo Pangoli is a modern and more combative style of eskrima. The founder of this style is senior grand master Vincent Palumbo(A.K.A GMV), GMV is a world class martial artist from Australia. he trained martial art over 40years, he also had over 300 competition experience in Boxing, kickboxing, full contact karate, full contact stick fighting, submission wrestling and etc.

What’s the qualifications of the instructor

Sam Wang is the highest level student under senior grand master Vincent Palumbo in China, he also owns instructor certification from serval different self defense and CQC organization such as KRAV MAGA. he was invited to teach defensive tactics to counter terror units, SWAT, prison guards, police officers and body guards across the country. He also has years of experience to teach self defense to adult and junior civilians.

►Time: 1:30-3:00pm Saturday

►Location: ROOM 806 Far glory international plaza Hongkong middle road (by May 4^th square)

►Out line of the event:    - Single stick drills

                         - Double stick drills

- Empty hand drills

 ►Requirement of the participation :

please wear sport outfit(jeans are fine too because of the low intensity)

this event is for everyone, there is no related background requirement.
